I never planned to make this card, but when the stars aligned and this card happened…I knew I had to share it with you. One of my campground neighbors purchased some cards from me at a recent craft fair. She needed a card for her husband for their anniversary and asked me to create one for her. I pulled out the He’s All That Cling Stamps and Coordinating Dies and the He’s the Man DSP. I sent her a text of each and asked her if that spoke to her. She loved it and said her husband was a classic car fanatic. She picked out the stamp she wanted me to use and then I went to town. Her card came out perfect and she absolutely loved it. that led me to play around a bit more and create some other cards…I glammed them up using the Oxidized Copper Specialty DSP and that’s how I created Man Glam!

So first off, here is the card I made for my neighbor’s husband. She picked out the stamp and paper and I put it all together. I used Cajun Craze, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake which work so well together.

Next, it was time to glam it up a bit. I switched my papers to the Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper and took the same card to the next level. This Tiered Accordion Fold is fun to make and can be used with any kind of stamps and papers.

I just love how it has a bit of sparkle but still looks masculine. It’s so unique. Here’s own to create this fun fold card.

CUTTING/SCORING
BASE (Pretty Peacock): 4 1/4″x5 1/2″
DSP for Base (Oxidized Copper in Pretty Peacock/Copper): 2″x4″

TIERED LAYERS: 2″x7″ (Copper Foil Paper), 3″x7″ (Pretty Peacock Cardstock), 4″x7″ (Copper Clay Cardstock); Score each of those pieces at 1/2″, 1″ and 1 1/2″ on each end. You’ll also need 3 pieces for fronts of the 3 tiers each cut to 1 3/4″x3 3/4″ (I cut 1 from Copper Foil Paper, 1 from the Pretty Peacock/Copper Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper, and 1 from the Copper Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper)

CARD BACK: Copper Clay 4″x5 1/4″; Basic White 3 3/4″x5″

ASSEMBY: Cut your base and add the DSP layer to the top of the base with a 1/8″ margin showing on each end. Flip the base over and add the layers for the back. (If you choose to stamp the back then do that before you adhere them-in case of boo-boos!) Then, cut, score and fold each of your three tier pieces accordion style. Glue your layers on the fronts of each tier. Now you’re ready to assemble each tier. Start with the largest tier and work your way down. They should all line up nicely.

Now, just add your decorations and embellishments. I used the compass stamp in Pretty Peacock and die cut it with the coordinating scalloped circle die. I also die cut two “ribbons” from the special paper to create the ribbons for the circle. I stamped “Hello Handsome” in Copper Clay and used the coordinating frame die to cut that out. To finish it off, I added some adhesive sheet pieces to the back of some Copper Foil Specialty Paper and used the argyle looking die to cut two of the shapes. I peeled off the paper backing and popped those on the top left of the card from and put the other one on the back. I used the tiny diamond scraps that pop out of it and put them around the tag since they looked like copper gems. (Yeah, I don’t waste anything!!). I also added a few of the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots. Man Glam!!

This last sample shows you how much fun you can have creating this fun fold. I used Zany Zoo to create this adorable Tiered Accordion Card for my granddaughter’s next dance recital. I mostly used the coordinating DSP and fussy cut all the dancers. I used the DSP with the flowers on the base…it’s black and white so I colored in the flowers to match the colors in the dancing animals. I die cut the curtains and flowers and attached them to the largest tier and added all the dancers around that “stage”. This card just makes me smile and giggle a little. She’s going to love it.

Following along below to watch the video as you stamp along and create your own Tiered Accordion Fun Fold. You’ll want to make them again and again.
