One of the things I enjoy about the new Annual Catalogs when they arrive is seeing what the new In-Colors are!! And I was not disappointed!! The new 2024-2026 In-Color shades are gorgeous and I know I’m going to use them all the time. I mean check them out!!
Take a look at all the products offered in the new In-Colors! All five colors come in the markers, blends, embellishments, paper, inks and ribbon. Let me assure you, they’re very pretty. So now, let’s make a card using these new colors and the brand new stamp set Hearts & Hugs. I think you’re going to love it. I know I do!
Aren’t these stamps just adorable. I see myself using these in so many ways. These are great for kids and for adults who are kids at heart. So much fun!! Let’s get started on making this super cool 4-Fold Pop Out Card!
CUTTING/SCORING
BASE (Pretty in Pink): 5 1/2″ x 10 1/4″, turn to long edge and score at 1 1/2″, 3″, 4 1/2″, and 6″. Then, turn to short edge with the 1st (1 1/2″ score line) at the top. Place the edge of the paper at the 1″ mark and then score from the 1 1/2″ score line down to the 6″ score line. Repeat on the opposite side.
FRONT (Basic White): 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
INSIDE CARD (Basic White): 5 1/4″ x 8″, scored at 4″
DSP (In-Color): 6×6 Designer Series Paper **Refer to diagram below for cutting.
One my cutting and scoring is finished, I like to add all my DSP pieces before folding the card. Lay your cardstock out so the biggest panel is on the right and all your scored parts are to the left. Then, just match up your DSP pieces to fit on the coordinating panels. **The second inside panel will not have a 1 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ piece because that is where your front piece will be glued.
Next, go ahead and stamp your front and inside pieces. You want to complete that before adhering them to the card. Once those are decorated, you can add them to the card base and we can start folding!
To fold these, I like to start with the top and bottom score lines and create a mountain/valley/mountain fold. Then the middle section will be the mountain/valley.
To finish off the card, I like to add some embellishments and bling.
Here are all 4 of my cards using the In-Colors (everything but Shy Shamrock).
And for the inside card, you can create anything you want. On some I just stamped; on some I added flowers; on some I added bling. Creativity!!
I told you they are cute! Please don’t overlook the new In-Colors. They are vibrant and fun and paired with the Hearts & Hugs bundle, they are even more special!!
Happy Crafting!
