With this card, you get a two-fer!! It’s an easy layout for the front that uses lots of scraps (because we tend to collect a lot of them!) and the inside has a cool double pop up! Two techniques in one card…and a lovely card at that! I especially enjoy how flat this card folds up even though the pop up has two levels. It won’t cost you a ton of $$ to mail it which is always a win

I created the front of the card entirely of scraps! The card base is Pretty Peacock. I cut 2 strips of Regal Winter DSP and 2 strips of Regal Distressed Specialty DSP – all from scraps. The middle piece is a scrap of Coastal Cabana. I also created a tag from a scrap of Basic White. I stamped in both Pretty Peacock and Coastal Cabana. I added some Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon to the tag and finished the front with some 2024-2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems. I used the Greetings of the Season stamps and dies, the Peaceful Season stamp set, and the snowflake stamp from the Iconic Imagery Stamp Set

The inside of the card uses more DSP. The mechanism and panels are cut from Pretty Peacock and my sentiments are stamped on Basic White.

CUTTING/SCORING
BASE: (Pretty Peacock) 5 1/2″x8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
FRONT STRIPS: (Regal Distressed DSP) 1″x3″ (x2); (Regal Winter DSP) 1″x4 1/4″ (x2)
MIDDLE: (Coastal Cabana) 3 1/8″ x 1 7/8″; (Basic White) Scrap for tag from Greetings of the Season Dies
BASE INSIDE: (Regal Winter DSP) 4″x5 1/4″; (Basic White) 3 1/2″x4 3/4″

MECHANISM: (Pretty Peacock) 3/4″x8″, score at 2″, 2 1/2″, 5 1/2″, 6″, 7″, and 7 1/2″; 3/4″x3″
PANELS ATTAHCED TO MECHANISM: (Pretty Peacock) 3 1/2″x1 7/8″ (x2); (Basic White) 3 1/4″x 1 5/8″

The base of this sample is Mossy Meadow. I layered Metallic Gold DSP and Seasons of Elegance Specialty DSP to the front. I stamped the images from Yuletide Village in Memento Ink onto Very Vanilla Cardstock and used Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to color them in. I also brushed Clear Wink of Stella onto the snowy areas for some extra sparkle. On the inside, I stamped in Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie and Basic Beige. The ribbon on the front is Silver & White Sheer Ribbon.

I love this last card…it’s so bright and cheerful! I used Blueberry Bushel for the base. On the front, I used Full of Life DSP and Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I stamped the front in Daffodil Delight, Blueberry Bushel and Granny Apple Green. I used stamps from the My Small Business Stamp Set. (I love how perfect this stamp set is for my business.). I used Granny Apple Green for the panels on the inside of the card this time. I can’t wait to send this card to my customers.

I hope you enjoy these techniques and use them separately or together to make your next masterpiece.

Happy Crafting!!
