As the holiday season draws near, I thought this card fold would be a great design to share with you. Sometimes we need a quick fold that we can go to for those last minute cards…whether it be for a loved one far away or a quick last thank you for someone special. Maybe you’ve been invited to a party or dinner and want to create a nice card to give the host! This Book Binding Fun Fold will work for any color combo, stamp set, paper choice and sentiment your heart desires. What can you come up with?

Here are all the cutting, scoring and assembly instructions!
INSTRUCTIONS:
BASE (Cherry Cobbler): cut 4 1/4″x11″, score at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
TOP LAYERS: (Basic Black) 4″x4″ and 1″x4″; (Designer Series Paper) 3 3/4″x3 3/4″ and 3/4″x3 3/4″
INSIDE LAYER: (Basic White) 4″x4″
BANNER TAG FOR FRONT: (Gold Adhesive Back Paper) 1″x3 3/4″ and (Basic Black) 5/8″x3 1/2″
OTHER: Ribbon & Embellishments of choice
Fold card base and score with bone folder. Use liquid glue to glue down scored panel that create book binding. Layer your DSP on 4×4 Basic Black piece. Adhere to the front of the card base. Layer the DSP strip to the Basic Black 1×4 piece. Add your ribbon to the 1×4 piece and then adhere it to the book binding edge. Next, stamp your sentiment on the Basic White inside layer and adhere that layer to the inside of the card base. Finally, decorate your Basic Black banner tag using white ink or by embossing your sentiment with white embossing powder. (Or you can use Basic White instead and stamp in black ink). Layer your banner tags together using dimensionals and adhere the banner tag to the front of the card.
Here are a few other samples I created. It’s a fun fold to create and you can make many cards quickly!
