I found myself going to this fold several times recently when I wanted to create a quick attractive card. I found it a great way to use up some retired paper scraps I was holding on to. When I realized I hadn’t share it with you yet, I knew what today’s video would be!! And I knew I had to create it with the brand new Meandering Meadow Suite I’ve been dying to open up!! I hope you find it as useful and attractive as I do!. Please, give it a try today!

Isn’t she pretty! I recently purchased the Meandering Meadow Suite of products from the Online Exclusives offering and have been dying to crack open all the pretty products. The Meandering Meadows 6×6 DSP is so pretty…tons of nature scenes and pretty backgrounds on the opposing side. The Garden Meadows Photopolymer Stamps complement this set with some perfectly gorgeous sentiments and garden stamps and the coordinating Garden Meadows Die make it super easy to tie everything together. The suite even comes with coordinating Pecan Pie Center Stripe Ribbon and Dragonfly & Birds Adhesive Backed Pieces.

This fold is simple and you can be flexible with the piece that opens on the right. Have fun with it; change the size and shape to fit your stamps, punches or embellishments. It’s very versatile. Here’s how I created this card.

CUTTING/SCORING INSTRUCTIONS
BASE (Fresh Freesia): 5 1/2″ x 7 1/4″, score at 3″
SECONDARY BASE (Fresh Freesia) 4 1/2″x4 1/2″, score at 1″ ***this is the piece you can change up to create different sizes and shapes and even add a second accent layer…experiment!!

INSIDE LAYER (Basic White): 4″x5 1/4″
DSP (Meandering Meadow DSP): 2 3/4″x5 1/4″

ASSEMBLY:
Fold the two base pieces and crease with your bone fold to give it a nice crisp fold. Add your secondary base to the inside of the card base, aligning the edges and centering. Stamp your sentiments and images to decorate your inside layer. Adhere the inside layer to your card base over the top of the tab on the secondary base. Die cut the garden scene from the DSP of your choice using the arch die…if you can, try to leave enough extra to also cut the 2 3/4″x5 1/4″ piece from the same sheet. Stamp a sentiment on the top of the arch if you’d like. Adhere the arch piece to the front of the secondary base. Add the other DSP piece to the left side of the main card base. All that’s left are embellishments. I added a ribbon bow to the corner and some of the birds to the front. I also used the Very Best Trio Punch to add some fun corners the secondary base.

Here’s the inside!

Now take a look at these other cards I created using the exact same fold. I just changed the secondary base to measure 4 1/4″x4 1/4″ and changed up the layers a bit. Same card but totally different looks!!

I wish the Kindest Gnomes set was not retired…I had just a few scraps of paper left and was able to create a few cards but I definitely have to hold on to the stamps and dies for a bit longer. They are so fun to use and they aren’t just for the holidays.

The He’s the Man DSP is no longer available, although the He’s All That Cling Stamps and All That Dies are still available and very useful in making the most handsome masculine cards. You can pair these stamps up with tons of other DSP options. These stamps are my go-tos for all the guys in my family and guy friends!

Thanks for checking in today. I hope you find this card fold helpful when you need a creative card that is no fuss! It’s fun, simple, and can be as intricate or basic as you want it to be…I love a fold with options!
