I enjoy Valentine’s Day for its simplicity. It’s about love…it’s sweet and sometimes even romantic. When we’re kids its all about the cute Valentines we share with friends, When we’re adults it’s all about the kids and grandkids, and if you’re fortunate enough to have a sweetie its a romantic holiday. Anyway you look at it, for me it’s both nostalgic and sweet. And if I’m truly honest, I just love making cute little Valentines.
I wanted to share 3 pretty Valentines with you. Each takes just minutes to assemble. With a little die cutting and stamping it all comes together into 3 sweet ways to show you care during this Valentine season. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
The products used to create all 3 Valentines: Hearts of Elegance Stamps and Dies; Stylish Shapes Dies for the tag; Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper; Gold Foil Sheets; Gold Open Weave Trim; Gold Twisted Thread; Real Red Cardstock and Ink; Basic White Cardstock; Garden Green ink; Low Profile Dots, and Adhesive Backed Heart Trinkets

Could this little Valentine be any cuter? It reminds me of a classic candy box, but instead it’s a sugar free treat! Just a few simple cuts and you’ve got it! Here’s how:
BASE: (Real Red) 5″x8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4
Various die cut pieces as shown

This elegant card is so super easy. It can also work for anniversaries and birthdays! Here’s how:
BASE: (Basic White) 5 1/2″x8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
Layer: (Basic White) 4″x 5 1/4″ (then die cut heart shape)

Chocolate anyone? I love dark chocolate best. (My favorite brand is made in Colorado – it’s called Chocolove!!). This one mimics my favorite chocolate and is calorie and sugar free! You could alter this to make white chocolate by using Very Vanilla Cadstock. Here’s what you need to know:
BASE: (Early Espresso) 4 1/8″x11″, score at 5 5/8″; Also, score the front (shorter side) at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″ to make three columns and then rotate the paper and score at 7/8″, 2″, 3 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ to make five rows.
CHOCOLATE SQUARES: (Early Espresso) 7/8″x1 1/8″ (x15); 5/8″x7/8″ (x15); and 1/2″x3/4″ (x15)
DSP: 2 1/2″x9″
INSIDE: (Basic White) 4″x5 1/4″
Which card is your favorite? Let me know in the comments! I can’t decide which one I love the most.
Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Crafting!!
