Sometimes you just need an easy layout to make some quick cards, but that doesn’t mean boring or plain. Here’s a simple layout that works with all your DSP scraps. I love being able to incorporate the super neat Spring Corners Stamps too! You can adjust the diamond in the middle to be smaller if you wish or even add some more layers. This one gives you room to be creative!

I love the country feel of this card. The Poppy Parade cardstock base really sets of the Misty Moonlight shade of wood in the Country Woods Designer Series Paper. The Smoky Slate shade of the center DSP brings it all together. I love that it was light enough to stamp the sentiment from Spring Corners right on the DSP. I die cut and colored the flowers and flowerpot from the Country Flowers Stamps and dies. Stampin’ Blends in the same colors make me look like an artist! I finished off the front with some Antique Pearls and some white ribbon. The inside is simply a sentiment and decorate stamp from the Spring Corners stamps. Here’s what you need to know to make this card.
CUTTING/SCORING
BASE: (Poppy Parade) 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
LAYER: (Basic White) 4″ x 5 1/4″
DSP 4 Panels: (Country Wood) 1 7/8″ x 2 1/2″ (x4). **You could also do 2 at 1 7/8″x5″
DIAMOND: (Country Lace) 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″

I’ve been having a lot of fun creating with the vibrant Terrific Toadstools stamps and I’m so glad I grabbed up a few packs of the DSP before Sale-A-Bration was over. It definitely is magical! I used Melon Mambo for the card base and then a layer of Granny Apple Green. I stamped and fussy cut several toadstools to match the DSP. The inside was a couple super simple stamps. This one is so fun and cheery!

I’ve been using the Wildflower Birthday paper so much lately. I love it. The fun little die cut pieces in the DSP pack made this card super simple. I used several of those elements to decorate my card and only stamped the inside sentiment – using the happy birthday stamps in Cake Celebrations. The card base is Soft Seafoam layered with Night of Navy. I added some Night of Navy ribbon and some gold Low Profile Dots to finish it off.
This layout works out great with so many occasions. And, you can play around with the diamond to make it smaller (and let all 4 panels show a bit more) or add some additional layering behind the diamond. Be creative!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoy this card!
Happy Crafting!
