I love trees! And, the Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder makes this card special! In this video, I’ll show you a really cool fun fold with a special hidden pop out card AND I’ll show you how to use that 3D texture from the embossing folder to create some pretty trees. Make sure you watch the end and see my other samples…as you’ll see, this is a great fun fold for any type of card!
It’s fun to create an artistic card front without using a stamp! This card front and inside was created by embossing the Basic White paper and then brushing on Old Olive Ink with a blending brush. I also brushed a light coat of Crumb Cake along the edges of the paper. The 3D Embossing Folder has so much texture that you get natural shading! The tag on the front was die cut from the Nested Essentials dies and stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I also used some Cherry Cobbler & Gold Ribbon to match. The card base was created with Garden Green cardstock and there’s a layer of Gold Foil Specialty DSP on the front. For the inside, I used DSP from the Iconic Celebrations 6×6 paper pack. The inside sentiment comes from Peaceful Season and is also stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

This sample was created using the awesome Full of Life DSP and stamps. I also created a really cool font panel by embossing the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder. This is my favorite embossing folder! The ribbon is Petunia Pop to match the card base. There’s also a layer of Blackberry Bliss.
I created this final sample using the Unbounded Love Stamps and Dies and the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper. The base is Blackberry Bliss with a layer of Petal Pink and Basic White. I stamped in Blackberry Bliss. The ribbon is from the Petal Pink and White Duo Pack. There is also a layer of shimmery paper from the Regal Distressed Specialty DSP. I love how elegant this card looks!
