I love how this card came out and hope you do as well. This fun fold card pairs the stamps and dies from both the Country Birdhouse and Country Flowers. The Country Woods 12×12 paper brings it all together. This fun fold is FUN…and so versatile.

I can’t seem to get enough of the Country Woods Suite Collection. It’s so lovely. This fun fold works for so many “looks and feels” that it will surely be one I go to again and again for my cards. Here’s how to create this card.

CUTTING/SCORING:
BASE (Basic Gray): 5 1/2″ x 8″, scored at 2″ and 6″. Rotate and cut the middle section from the 2″ score line to the 6″score line at the 1 1/4″ mark. Repeat on the opposite end. Next, put your cardstock back on the cutter with the long side at the top and score just the top section at the 4″ mark. Repeat on the bottom section. **Do not score on the middle section. Next, with the long side at the top of your cutter and the edge at the 3″ mark, score just the middle section. Rotate your paper and repeat on the opposite side.

CENTER FRONT PANEL (Pool Party): 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ (x2)
CENTER FRONT PANEL (Basic White): 2 5/8″ x 1 5/8″ (x2)
LARGE SIDE PANELS (Basic White): 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (x4); DSP 1 5/8″ x 5 1/8″ (x2)
SLIM SIDE PANELS (Basic White): 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ (x2); DSP 5/8″ x 2 5/8″ (x2)
CENTER TOP/BOTTOM: 1 3/4″ x 1″ (x4); DSP 1 5/8″ x 7/8″ (x4)

ASSEMBLY: Cut and score all your pieces. Fold your base sides according to the photos with the side panels as a valley fold and the top and bottom slim sections as mountain folds. The center panel will pop out forward. Next, add all your paper layers. Stamp and add your embellishments. I stamped several of the flowers in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them with Calypso Coral, Misty Moonlight and Lost Lagoon. I die cut the flower container out of a scrap of DSP and stamped the “Flower Market” stamp on the front. I also popped some dimensionals on the Best Friend and Ever stamped pieces. I am in love with this card!!

Here are a few other samples I created.

For this card, I used the Take to the Sky Suite. The base is Smoky Slate and I paired it with Night of Navy. I stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Smoky Slate Ink. The airplane is die cut from Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and (propellers) Silver Metallic. I created the sentiment with the Double Oval Punch. I love that punch because it makes layering so simple!

I created this final sample using the Full of Life DSP (love, love, love!!) and the Pocket Thoughts Bundle. I used Petunia Pop as the card base and let that gorgeous DSP do all the work! If you notice, the middle panel on the back has a surprise card that pops out of the pocket. This is such a fun card!!

I hope you enjoy this fun fold. Try it out soon…it’s such a fun fold! Happy Crafting!!!
