This fun fold is all about decoration! The base is quite simple and the layers go on in a snap. What makes this card so versatile and so special is how you decorate it. Whether masculine, feminine, for birthdays or even sympathy…it just works! You’ll want to make a lot of these!

The base for this card is made from Misty Moonlight cardstock. I used a scrap of Country Woods 12×12 DSP because I just loved the seaside look of the stripes. I stamped the front panel with some Pool Party bubbles and then embossed the front panel with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder….I just love how pretty the waves look! Once the layers are in place it’s all about the decorating. This is the fun part of this card fold. I die cut some coral in Pool Party. I also stamped a crab in Gorgeous Grape and Misty Moonlight and die cut the little guy. I made him hang out in the coral with some dimensionals. Finally, the tag was created with a few scraps.

Here’s what you need to make this fun fold.

BASE: (Misty Moonlight) 4 1/2″x11″, scored at 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4″ and 8 1/4″
TOP PANEL: (Misty Moonlight) 4″x4″; (Basic White) 3 7/8″x3 7/8″
CENTER PANEL: (Misty Moonlight) 4″x4″; DSP (Country Woods) 3 7/8″x3 7/8″
BOTTOM PANEL: 2 1/4″x4″ **if using a layer under the Basic White, then make that layer 2 1/4″x4″ and the Basic White 2 1/8″x3 7/8″

I’m an avid reader and I love the For the Book bundle so much! Especially for sending to my Book Club friends. I used Night of Navy for the base. The DSP came from the Everyday Skies 12×12 DSP and from Country Woods. I created the bookshelf from scrap strips of Country Woods DSP. The tag on the front is cut from Nested Essentials Dies. Use your Stampin’ Blends to really make those books pop! My inside sentiment comes from Simply Said…one of my go-to faves!

This card couldn’t have been easier with the Wildflower Birthday 12×12 DSP. I created a base in Basic White, layered with Soft Sea Foam and Stamped in Pretty in Pink. The rest of the card is DSP and the laser cut images included in that gorgeous DSP paper pack. I fussy cut the front greeting and added some pink gems to finish it off. I love how pretty it is and this one went to my baby sister for her upcoming birthday.

Which one is your favorite! Try this one out because I think you’ll enjoy making cards again and again using this fold.

Happy Crafting.
