Do you hoard all your paper scraps, especially all that gorgeous Designer Series Paper? I certainly do. I just love my papers. Sometimes I just need to use it and free up some precious paper space for all the new beautiful papers…especially since all Stampin’ Up’s DSP is on sale during the month of June. In these cards, I cut up those precious scraps to create some fun and simple card designs that I think you’ll enjoy duplicating.
With just some cardstock and random DSP, you can create all kinds of designs.
On the first card, we used Crumb Cake cardstock and some retired DSP. Just cut strips to your desired size and use either a punch or scissors to create the tails. Pop on some dimensionals or simply adhere with liquid glue.
On the second card, I cut my DSP into random angled strips and glued them onto a piece of cardstock. Let the strips hang over the edge of your cardstock because you can use scissors to trim off the edges. Pop that onto a card base with adhesive or dimensionals. Add a tag or shape with your sentiment, along with some embellishments and you’re done!
The third card was created by cutting strips of paper and adhering them to card stock at an angle. Again, you can let them hang over the edge of the paper and give them a trim. Add your message and embellishments and you’re done.
Don’t you just love a simple, but unique card?
